Cosmelan® Depigmentation Treatment

Advanced pigmentation correction now available in our clinic

Uneven skin tone and stubborn pigmentation are among the most common skin concerns we see. Sun exposure, hormonal changes, acne, and inflammation can all trigger excess melanin production, leading to dark patches that are difficult to fade with standard skincare alone.

That is why we are excited to introduce Cosmelan®, a professional depigmentation treatment designed to visibly reduce pigmentation and help prevent it from returning.

What is Cosmelan®?

Cosmelan® is a medical-grade depigmentation system developed to treat hyperpigmentation at its source. Unlike treatments that focus only on surface discoloration, Cosmelan® works by regulating melanin production, helping to correct existing pigmentation while reducing the risk of future dark spots.

It is suitable for most skin types and tones and is particularly effective for:

  • Melasma

  • Sun-induced pigmentation

  • Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH)

  • Acne marks and uneven skin tone

How does Cosmelan® work?

The Cosmelan® system works in two phases:

1. In-clinic Cosmelan® Mask

A professional-strength mask is applied in the clinic and left on the skin for a specific number of hours, depending on your skin type and concern. This initiates intensive pigment correction.

2. Home Care Phase

After removing the mask at home, you will follow a structured home-care routine using Cosmelan® products. This phase is essential to:

  • Continue pigment reduction

  • Prevent rebound pigmentation

  • Support skin healing and barrier repair

Consistency during this phase is key to achieving optimal and long-lasting results.

What results can you expect?

Clients typically notice:

  • Visible brightening of the skin

  • Reduced appearance of dark patches

  • More even, radiant complexion

  • Improved skin texture and clarity

Results develop progressively over several weeks, with continued improvement over the following months when home care is followed correctly.

Is there downtime?

Cosmelan® is an intensive treatment, and some expected reactions include:

  • Redness

  • Sensitivity

  • Peeling or flaking

  • Temporary tightness or warmth

These reactions are normal and part of the skin renewal process. Your therapist will guide you through what to expect and how to care for your skin during recovery.

Who is Cosmelan® suitable for?

Cosmelan® can be suitable for many skin types and tones, including deeper skin tones that are more prone to pigmentation. However, it is not suitable for everyone, which is why a professional consultation is essential.

During your consultation, we will assess:

  • Your skin type and condition

  • Type and depth of pigmentation

  • Medical history and lifestyle factors

This ensures the treatment is safe, effective, and tailored to you.

Why choose Cosmelan®?

  • Clinically proven depigmentation system

  • Targets pigmentation at its source

  • Suitable for various pigmentation concerns

If pigmentation is affecting your confidence and you are looking for a results-driven solution, Cosmelan® may be the right treatment for you.
